Bucket List Item 101 #ColorRun

On Sunday I finally got to cross another item of my bucket list : - I completed the color run in Durban. Well I use the term "run" loosely I actually just walked the 5K with my cousins and one of my aunts.

I've been wanting to try the color run for a couple of years and for whatever reason the timing just never works out but this year, I was determined to get to it. We weren't sure what to expect so we bought some wings and cute head bands with wands...

The walk itself was fun with bursts of colored powder being thrown on us and due to me being on the short side I got a LOT of powder thrown right over my face...

I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't more of a music festival side to it but the deejaying was pretty cool.

All in all I would say it probably was the Happiest5K around... I had fun with my family and getting all messed up! Washing my hair was a bit of a challenge with the numerous colors and color combinations coming out of it but all of it was so worth it. Durban really showed off that day with the perfect weather and we completed it with the perfect attitude.

Has the ColorRun come to your city yet???

Bucket List - Liverpool FC vs Kasier Chiefs LEGENDS Game

I don't think it's accurate to include this particular game on my bucket list because I would have never thought it would be possible to even watch some of the players I did watch.

On Friday, I mentioned how excited I was and I had no idea how that would only be the tip of the iceberg.
I bought the Liverpool Tattoo when I visited Liverpool in 2010 ~ I knew it would finally come in handy

Last week was rough for me, work was rough and my sleeping patterns were completed messed up and if I thought that was hectic, things only got worse when we almost missed our flight because we were running a little late and the lady helping us well, didn't help! She printed my ticket twice and my dad was left without a ticket then when we finally all had tickets I thought my flight wasn't boarding so I went to buy a book and almost missed my flight. So if you were in OR Tambo on Friday and saw a girl running thought - it was me!

When we arrived at King Shaka International, none other than Kaiser Chiefs (and more so Bafana Bafana) legend - Doctor Khumalo was on my flight and he was nice enough to take a quick picture with me.

Back to the game, I was so psyched on Saturday to see so many Liverpool fans and for the short time it felt like we were all going to see Liverpool play at Anfield. When You'll Never Walk Alone was playing at the beginning of the day, it was definitely a "MOMENT".

Liverpool lost over penalties but the game was played in such a good spirit and there were so many goals it really was a great experience.

When leaving Durban on Sunday evening I then bumped into Liverpool FC legend, Bruce Grobbelaar and I am so happy that I got that opportunity. I was definitely reminded this weekend I am extremely blessed.

Who is the most surprising celeb you have met? Were you at the game?

Someday I Will...

I was catching on my blogs and then I noticed that a few of the blogs I was reading all had titles "Someday I will" and I realised .. link up :)

So here it goes, I'm linking up with Taylor today.

Someday I will...

* learn to speak Spanish

I've been wanting to learn Spanish for the longest time and I am making progress .. but very very slowly.

* learn to play the piano

I tried to learn when I was in the 4th Grade but then got distracted.

* travel to Spain

This year, my eurotrip was supposed to be to Spain this year but then I didn't have anyone to go with and my leave didn't match up with the possible Contiki trip. I honestly cannot wait to go there!

* watch Liverpool play at Anfield

I haven't watched them  play live yet but I know I will get the chance sooner rather than later!

* meet Steven Gerrard

This is how I will look

* go on another Contiki Trip

Contiki first time round was amazing and I still have so many great relationships formed and I can't wait to see any of them soon!

* figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life

* love my career

* love my husband and children (which I will also have someday) more than anything else

* write my book

* have stepped onto every continent in the world

* will consistently work at being healthy

* be involved with a NGO which is close to my heart or start my own

* own my own beach house like the one in Nights in Rodanthe

* learn how to use all the HTML codes on my blog!

What will you do someday?

Guest Post : Meghan Silva : Sky's the limit

Hi guys, I am so happy to be guest posting on Coral tinted perceptions, I hope you having a gorgeous time in Europe Natalie I am totally green haha . So today I decided I have to share some of whats on my Bucket list with you guys as Europe happens to be one so it just seems so fitting. If you read my blog you will be well aware of my Food Bucket list but I do have one about general life. I think having goals and wishes for the future really is so important( well at least to me) it helps keep you excited and optimistic about the future.

1) I would love to sail somewhere around the world and I don't mean on a cruise ship I mean on an actual sailboat.

2) Visiting Paris is a total must for me.

3) Grow my own fruit and vegetables (since eating healthy costs an arm and a leg).

4) Take a photography course.

5) Learn how to ride a bike (yes people I had parents who didn't teach me to ride a bike *looking at my parents as I type this*).

6) Take a girls weekend trip once a year.

7) Have a regular game night once a month.

8) Learn at least 3 new languages in my life.

9) Have a kid one day (to teach how to ride a bike).

10) Do something that will make a difference in this world.

There's more but I will leave it at that, I hope you enjoyed this post I have to know what is one thing that is on your bucket list? Care to share?
